Want to learn about another culture? Want to travel extensively but don’t have the time? Then bring part of another country or culture to you! The best way to experience another culture without physically going to another country is inviting a foreign student into your home.
We are looking for caring, open-minded and enthusiastic families to open up their homes to a foreign student from Japan, China, Korea and Thailand from August to June. The benefits of opening your home to a foreign student are endless. Here are some of the comments previous host-families have shared in order to give an idea of the benefits of being a host family:

The minimum requirements for a Host Family are:
• Two related persons living in the home during the time the student is present
• At least one family member with English as his/her native language
• English spoken in the home during the time the student is present
• Positive verbal comments from at least two references
• A separate bed available for the student during his/her stay and a place for the student to study
• A working telephone and basic utilities
