My son has outgrown this bike and I am looking to upgrade. He is over 5 foot now and doesn't do tricks so this bike is really not a fit.

Trek no longer makes this bike which is a shame. It is a great bike for kids ages 6-9. This bike is solid steel. It has a rotor which keeps the brake lines from getting tangled. It has both a foot and hand brake and pegs on the front and rear wheels.

It is 4 years old and has minor suface nicks from being ridden by a boy this age, but it is still in great condition. Since it was bought at Al's it still has the "free lifetime adjustments."

58cm frame - composite of aluminum with carbon toptube and downtube inserts. Here's Cannondale's blurb:

VERY similar geometry (almost identical) as the 2010 SuperSix and Caad9 - so you've got a thoroughbred racing bike that (with the carbon inserts and carbon fork) will also comfortably take you on a 100mile ride. I've included a geo sheet from 2008 and highlighted the 58cm frame.

The Pro Z Team was not shown on Cannondale's website but was a direct copy of the Team bikes being used. Awesome, understated paint job and proudly made in the USA, not Taiwan as some later Cannondales now are.

Although this is a 2008 bike, I bought it from the bikeshop I work at as a mechanic in March 2009. It has been ridden for less than a year, NEVER laid down or crashed and regularly maintained.

One small paint chip on left seatstay (as shown in pic #2) but the frame is otherwise in superb condition.

Frame and fork will be thoroughly cleaned before packing, headset will be de-greased.

This bike is one year old as of the end of November, has about 800 miles on it and is in great condition. Trek calls it a Hybrid bike, meaning it has road style tires and a higher seat post like a road bike, but standard handlebars (not drop). The color is "Titanite Black," which looks like a dark, metallic grey with light grey stylings.

This is a Cross Country race frame, so it is very light
and handles excellent in the tight stuff. The frame is 7005 triple butted aluminum.
The frame is straight and true; it does have scratches from normal off road use. Also the chain-stay got scratched from chain slapinitially.

The frame and fork are set up to run standard disc and V brake.
The Manitou fork was stock on the bike so it's the exact size for the frame and also a good color match. It is 100 mm travel and is very smooth. Also it has air and fluid adjustments so it can be dialed in to your likings.

Why am I selling this bike? Well I absolutely loved riding this bike but as my wife has pointed out in the past, 'I have bike issues.' So I have to sell a few
to avoid unneeded marital distress.

This is an Awesome bike and is very lightweight, only weighting about 21-22 lbs.

I bought this bike new in March of 2008(still have the recipt) at a cost of $1000 and I probably have put only about 300-400 miles on it.

It is in excellent condition and has Shimano components, disc brakes, 27 speeds, a Cateye speedometer / bike computer, and the famous matte black finish the bad boys are known for.

The only blemish on the bike is a small scratch on the right side of the rear wheel, which I am including a picture of.

The bike is very fast, quiet, and handles extremely well. The tires on the bike are for speed, but this bike can easily accommodate larger, more aggressive tires for off-road use.
