I purchased this welder a few months ago. It does not power on, but everything appears in decent order. One of the black solid state tubes #866 ($70) is missing a couple of prongs and the small capacitor is not holding enough juice to close the circuit (which is why the machine doesn't power on). The machine is VERY clean and the larger tubes appear to be in good shape. I paid $300 for it myself, but I do not have the time to mess with it. I have indicated (with a red circle) the 2 components that appear to be bad. Everything else appears to be functional. This machine new is $4,000 so this is a great price if you need a wood welder!
