ive been playing drums for about 10 years professionaly....
I play mostly heavy rock, thrash, grindcore, metal type stuff...although i have been in a few noise-improv bands...what i would like to do is something totally original and rocking.....i also play guitar so i know how to construct a song...ive been a songwriter for almost 15 years but at this time im looking to play the drums and i need people who arent afraid to be original but are also looking to make a name for themselves. In other words, i want to be original enought break new ground but accesible enough to keep people listening...my influences are huge.....depeche mode, skinny puppy, slayer, pavement, sonic youth, cannibal corpse, LBS, social distortion, morrissey, the smiths, tymn bowen, frank zappa, gentle giant, polvo, the breeders, john zorn , glenn branca, 36mafia, the flying luttenbachers, gong, helium, aspartame, the velvet underground, MC5, space needle, napalm death, YES, pink floyd, strawbs, dillinger escape plan, cave in, subhumans, built to spill, the sound engineers, drowning ophelia, ace of base, merzbow, genesis p orridge, blonde redhead, mmmr, the doors, ISIS, Nile, the swans, adolf eichman, john anderson, growth spert, the guitar legends, lee jarrod evans, the masters, not tori amos, and so on and so on and so on.....
so im very open....i just want to do original music with people that believe in themselves....i also play guitar quite well, keyboards well enough, and can sing.....some of my solo material can be found here...
