I live in San Diego, but am currently visiting Dallas for a few weeks. I'll be visiting Oklahoma City for Memorial Day weekend and leaving for San Diego on May 26th or 27th. Figured I would post an ad on here to see if anyone needed a car, truck, or motorcycle driven to anywhere along my route. My dates are somewhat flexible and I'm planning on passing through the following cities:
Amarillo
Albuquerque
Flagstaff
Phoenix
Yuma
El Centro
I can also deliver to the following states:
Texas (West)
New Mexico (All Areas)
Colorado (Southern)
Utah (Southern)
Nevada (Southern / Vegas)
Arizona (All Areas)
California (Southern / Possibly Northern)
About me: 29 yr. old professional white male, NO criminal past, nice guy, clean cut, lots of references, small business owner who's in dire need of a roadtrip to help clear my mind! :)
You pay for the gas, lodging (if applicable @ $30-50/night), and $0.10 per delivery mile driven (to help cover my time). I'll pickup the vehicle, drive it cross-country, check in periodically, and deliver to your door. I have a valid TX driver's license and can drive stick. I DO NOT drive faster than the speed limit, so your vehicle is not at risk. I have driven cross-country more than two dozen times in the past 10 years and am very good with long roadtrips.
Why am I offering this? It will save me a couple hundred bucks on a plane ticket, bring in a little bit of cash, give me a chance to see the western half of the US again, and allow me some time to just drive and think for many hours! Driving is therapeutic for me and with recent changes to my business, I could use the time to think about everything. It also gives you an opportunity to save hundreds of $$$ on auto shipping prices, which are ridiculous nowadays. (about $1200 from OK -> San Diego) Hopefully this can be a Win-Win situation...
Please, good running vehicles only! I'm not a mechanic! :) The vehicle must have up-to-date registration/inspection tags.
