I am 74 and remember going to my great g’ma’s house begging and promising to handle her sea treasures tenderly. Many were brought back from Japan and Hawaii. Mothers were bought through mail order sea shell dealers. Many are common and many are rare or extremely hard to find. The Hawaiian Island store closed down in the 1970’s. They are so neatly tucked away in a large glass Turtle that is not chipped and an antique jar that used to have candied hot cinnamon balls in it. I want these to go to a new home that will treat them tenderly and enjoy the beauty of natures treasures. Have a great day!!! Thank you!
