Has been modified with support bars welded to the frame
plus foot platforms added to the rear. Then it was powder
coated.I acquired this as a bare frame and fork from a
BMX collector who had bought out someone else's
collection, so I don't know the original manufacturer
of the bike's frame or fork.
I added the wheels, tires, handlebars, crank, etc. to complete
the bike into rideable condition.
It has a coaster brake rear wheel and a set of new Kenda tires
with a pavement tread pattern. The chainring is gold annodized
and the seat is an old school diamond pleated type. It was built
in the tradition of the old school klunkers in mind.
The frame has mounting holes for caliper hand brakes if you
prefer freewheel action and the back wheel's dropout opens at
Not a scratch on the bike's paint and the cheapest price I've heard of
to get a bike's frame powder coated is $85., so there's been some
expense and lots of labor involved along the way. Firm on the $250.
The bike has only been rode a few blocks to test it.
