Essentially a road bike designed for fast riding on pavement but
the mixte frame allows for an easy mount/dismount, which is especially
handy if you're carrying things on a luggage rack over the rear wheel.
More popular in Europe where bikes are used more for practical everyday
transporation, but the mixte is getting hard to find in the USA.
Handlebars allow for a more comfortable upright riding position and better view
of your surroundings ..... a safety feature while in traffic.
Quality-made bike with a handcrafted lugged steel frame made in Japan plus the
wheels and other components are lightweight alloy.
Frame's seat tube is 19" and probably most ideal for riders 5'7" and taller.
Has chrome pedals with ball bearings (not plastic). Both wheels have quick releases.
Original saddle in good shape and there's hardly a scratch to be found
