The Estimator role focuses on reviewing project plans, preparing competitive bids, performing take‑offs, and developing accurate cost estimates. This position supports Pre‑Construction and Project Management by organizing bid documents, coordinating with subcontractors, tracking material pricing, and ensuring all bid requirements are met.
Duties
Review plans/specs and prepare detailed estimates
Perform quantity take‑offs
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids
Organize bid runners and ensure timely submissions
Coordinate budgets with project management
Prepare phase reports
Maintain subcontractor relationships and pricing databases
Issue bid invitations and track material pricing
Assist Project Managers and support project handoff
Skills & Qualifications
Construction estimating experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, team‑focused
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and project management software
Digital take‑off experience required
