This beautiful cabriole leg sideboard is part of the high-end Lexington Bob Timberlake Furniture Collection. It's a truly phenomenal piece, made of real cherry, lightly distressed, with a satin finish. Lexington called this a Quail Hunter's Sideboard. A hunter's sideboard (also known as a huntboard) is taller than a typical sideboard or buffet, and was originally made that way so hunters returning from the field could gather around and eat while standing.
The pieces in this collection were all extremely expensive, and are now highly collectible. This one is in very fine condition overall, with the main flaws being a couple minor dents on the top front edge. In person, it looks darker, and more like what you would expect cherry to look like. It measures 54" W x 18.5" D x 40.5" H.
My price is hundreds below what others are asking for the same piece . . . . . . . $1450
