Your space/place totally needs this piece! Rare to find vintage tall narrow two door cabinet with 11 very pretty convex glass panes that are in excellent shape. Doors have original ornate handles, the sides have grooves to give a slat look. This narrows style curio sells $1100-$2,500 without convex glass panes. Incredibly 🤎 exciting piece! I guestimate it to be from the 60s-70s.
Has been restained it isn't a perfect job, but the job looks good - a little of the stain got on the inside of the glass panes as seen in pics it can pretty easily be cleaned/scraped away with a razor blade and window cleaner.
The sides and back are wood laminate seems like the same stuff as on wood panel walls, the rest of it, the base, top, and doors are solid wood. It has no shelves and most of the adjustable pegs for them are missing. One of the best and least expensive ways to replace the glass shelves with glass that's thicker than say glass meant for windows is to get it from another old furniture piece and pay a glass shop to cut the glass to size.
The top/crown/finial came off and is not attached as seen in pics, it still has 3 screws in front of it that just needs screwed back down in the holes, I personally wouldn't do any gluing because I don't feel it's needed, it's cracked at the back as seen in pics but doesn't much matter as it isn't visible when atop the cabinet. To use Lighted it needs Rewiring, the cord to the bottom is cut off at the end, the cord for the top has a little surface frayed area as seen in pics.
The top measures 6' to the top of the crown, 65" to the top without the crown, Measures 24" wide at the top/crown, 11 1/2" front to back at the bottom, the body is 8" front to back, 10" front to back including the doors. There's a couple pics of what it looks like without the topper.
