I guess this classic church furniture piece to be at least 20 years old. I guess it to be cherry or oak wood. Has a hole at the top and bottom to wire a mic through. The finish of the sides is two-tone cherry, the finish of the top is cherry, the back of the cross is blond, the finish of the base is also two-tone cherry, a lighter finish than the sides. It has scratches, nicks, and the top has lacquer wear, the flaws do not distract from it being a very pretty quality piece as seen in pics. It's extremely heavy, hard, and solid, I'd guess at least 70 lbs. It's 48" high at the back, 43" high at the front, 28" wide at the top, 18" front to back at the top.
Great for use as a podium for church service, choir practice or choir music stand, or as a decor piece in a church office, foyer, or residential family room it foyer displaying a minister's or family Bible or a favorite Bible, or church home or minister's family or favorite gospel hmyn book.
Care should be taken not to handle it by the cross with it being narrower detailing lifting it by this is putting the weight of the entire piece on this smaller detailing.
