Back when chairs reclined and you could smoke on planes! (They do not smell like smoke though)
Get these beauties now before we start refurbishing them. Once they are cleaned up and finishing touches are put on they will sell for $500+
These pieces came off of a Commercial airliner that was once owned by a Saudi prince.
The Lockheed Martin TriStar 500 L-1011
Commercial Airliner model started production in 1978
Originally made for Royal Jordanian Air in 1983, this luxury plane spent time in the service of Royal Jordanian Air, the Jordanian Government, owned buy Saudi Prince Abdul Aziz Al Ibrahim, Al Anwa Airlines and finally the United States Air Force! From other research it appears to have been in Ardmore, OK for interior modifications.
Said to have a navigation and autopilot ahead of its time, the Tristar would be Lockheed Martins last attempt in the commercial airplane market. Needing to sell 500 to break even, after several scandals with the Japanese government, production stopped at number 250.
