Frederick Cooper produced expensive, high-end lamps, using quality materials like real brass and porcelain, along with hand-painted designs. This is a ginger pot shaped table lamp featuring a vibrant pink lotus motif. The floral design repeats three times around the lamp. The wooden base, and to a lesser extent, the wooden cap, show finish wear, which is very common on these. You could refinish the pieces, or you might prefer to leave it, to accentuate the vintage character of the lamp.
The label on the underside showing 03/90 could be the date of manufacture... or it might not. Frederick Cooper generally doesn't seem to have dated their pieces, and some sources suggest that this lamp could date from the '60s or even the '50s. The crazing on the porcelain appears to be intentional, in keeping with the vintage Asian theme, but it's use as a design element also suggests an older date. The double lined fabric lampshade presents well enough, but does have a torn spot almost 2.5" long on the outer layer of one panel. You might choose to change the type of shade, but until then you can just turn that spot to the back. The last pic is one of my competitors on eBay.
