The stem has a crack half around as seen in pics, but it is pretty stable, the vase was full of foam for artificial stems and tall flowers when I came across it.
I noticed the stem crack when I pulled the vase to the side of the base by the top of the brim, I thought I noticed play/movement that shouldn't be there.
Despite the crack on the stem the crack is stable as long as you do tip the vase on the side of the base, it can actually be glued with a good glue but it's the type of glue job you'd need an extra pair of hands for due to there barely being a gap to access. There's multiple scratches inside as though stems were changed out numerous times, it may have been used as decor for multiple events.
Very pretty rare to find vintage antique inspired ornate clear, gold, silver, and cream vase with raised relief painted grapevine detail, and fluted base.
I assume the entire thing to be acrylic, it's quite heavy at least 10 lbs. 23 1/2" high at the front, sides 22 1/8" high 13 1/8" wide, 16" deep front to back, inside very top (start of round area) excluding top trim/brim 8 1/2" diameter/round.
