“The Harley that handles.”
37,084 miles (As of July 26, 2019).
Fresh oil change and service. Runs GREAT!
Ready to ride, needs nothing. Runs as it should.....like a rocket!
Engine REPLACED (!) under warranty at 20K. I have documentation of this (see pics).
Fuel tank replaced under warranty at 11K, and documented (see pics).
Rear tire replaced at 31K .
The following items serviced when I got the bike at 36,560 miles:
Front tire replaced
K&N air filter cleaned
New Kuraykyn grips.
New throttle cable
New spark plugs
Oil & Filter change

Taller aftermarket mirrors and 1-inch vertical extensions added. (I couldn’t see otherwise!). Original mirrors included.
Other than the mirrors and the grips, bike is completely stock.

Includes extensive service documentation (I can’t claim it’s “complete.”)
Includes 2 brand new fuel injectors still in the box (see pics)
I am the third owner. As near as I can tell, the first owner had it for 35K miles. I purchased it in April 2019 from second owner with 36,500K
$4500. Check around the nation on CL, eBay, or CycleTrader. You won’t find an XR1200 in this condition for a lower price. Probably the lowest-cost XR1200 available in the USA. I'll even include in the Maista 1:18 scale toy Replica of the 2011 XR1200X (see pics)
Clean Green OK title.
No, I don't need help selling it.
No credit cards
No PayPal
No shipping
This will be a face-to-face CASH ONLY sale. You come and get it.

No test rides without $4500 CASH in my hand, and proof of Motorcycle endorsement and insurance. You drop it or otherwise wreck it...you bought it.

Reason for selling:
I’m just not a sport bike guy. My body hates the riding position. I’m a confirmed cruiser guy. I’ve admired these bikes for many years, and thought I could adapt. It took me owning one for 2 months to realize that I couldn’t. But I sure will miss the torque of this beast!
I will answer emails but texting is preferred. My name is Dave
