This is a well-preserved and fully functional LinnDrum LM-2 — one of the most iconic drum machines of all time.

Only around 5,000 units were produced between 1982 and 1985, making this a rare, highly sought-after collector’s piece.

Serial #3491 places it in the 1983–1984 production range, right in the middle of Linn's golden era.

The unit was professionally serviced at Jaydon Electronics in Jacksonville, FL, two years ago.

Work included:

Replacement of the digital power supply

Installation of a new 3.6V rechargeable NiCd battery

Extensive internal cleaning to remove corrosion from the original leaking battery

Faulty ICs replaced to restore full functionality

Thorough diagnostics and repair of voice output and pattern/song playback issues
