Responsibilities
• Manage and track vendor purchase orders from placement through delivery
• Maintain accurate, current vendor pricing for the sales team
• Communicate with vendors regarding lead times, order updates, backorders, and shipment statuses
• Coordinate freight charges and shipment logistics
• Process and manage damaged material claims and freight discrepancies
• Ensure accuracy of order acknowledgements, confirmations, and invoicing
• Work closely with sales and warehouse teams to resolve order-related issues quickly and professionally
• Maintain organized purchasing and vendor records
• Assist with operational workflow improvements and process organization
Qualifications
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and follow-through
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience in purchasing coordination, operations, logistics, customer service, or vendor management preferred
• Experience in construction materials, interiors, distribution, tile, stone, or related industries is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and general computer systems. Quickbooks a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
