I’ve got a few offices available in this building I’ve been fixing up in Oklahoma City, near Nichols Hills and the Capitol. There’s also some space on Sunny Lane and 15th. I’m hoping to rent to a therapist, lawyer, massage therapist, or someone in a similar line of work. I’m trying to build a small community here — something a little more personal than just a bunch of people renting rooms. It’s going okay so far. If you send me someone who signs a lease, I’ve got $100 for you.
Working solo can be isolating. You don’t have coworkers or anyone to bounce ideas off of, and it’s easy to feel like you’re just doing your thing in a vacuum. I’m trying to make a place where solo professionals have their own private offices but still feel like part of something — a place where people actually say hi, share resources, and help each other out a bit. Personally, I think chatting around the water cooler is kind of cool, and I’m on a mission to preserve it.
Starting and running a business can be complicated, and being around a handful of other people doing the same thing really helps. There’s a wealth of therapist experience here in particular — things like EHR systems, insurance, billing, and all the random details that no one warns you about.
It’s all bills paid, with fiber optic Internet and Wi-Fi included. You get your own private office, and we all share a large waiting room, conference room, kitchen/break area, and two restrooms. The biggest suite is two rooms at 278 sq ft, for $795, the other available unit is a single room at $545 for 177 sq ft. On Sunnylane there a suite for $395 opening soon and $445.
I personally meet with everyone. You don’t have to have a specific kind of business, but I do make sure everyone’s work is compatible and won’t be disruptive to each other. Right now, we’re mostly therapists, massage therapists, and lawyers.
If you want to help build this with us — or if you just need a reasonably priced, full-service office and want to be around good, friendly people — message me here or text me at 405-259-2627. (Text please, calls might get ignored as spam)
