I am looking to pick up some side work and was wondering if any businesses around need help with pieces of their manufacturing or assembly. I have a shop with the following equipment. Pretty much all hand, power and air tools used for mechanical or wood work, Multi-process welder, MiG, TIG,stick. Also an Oxy Actylene welder, Small lathe, Drill presses, 20 ton press, sand blaster, Small propane forge, Small metal casting foundry, 20 LB lead melt pot, custom rod bending jig, Pick and place machine for building surface mount circuit boards, re-flow oven, Test equipment for electronic troubleshooting, I have 5 3D printers. There are more tools available but don't want to make this to long.
So if you need something assembled or manufactured let me know. I would like to do it as piece work.
I have a strong mechanical and electrical/electronic background and excellent troubleshooting skills.
as an example of some of the stuff I am currently doing I pour 1000s of lead head weights for a duck decoy manufacturer.
I currently assemble 6 different PCB boards on my pick and place and then hand solder through hole parts. for trap machines, and oil and gas products in quantities up to 100 a week.
On the mechanical side right now I assemble and wire ignition systems oil industry and modify and assemble valves.
I have also designed 3 boards from scratch for wireless applications for the trap company and the decoy company.
