The Defense Sector Leidos is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a fast-paced Air Force Life Cycle Management Center program. The successful candide will guide the modernizion of software systems by managing infrastructure provisioning, configurion, and software deployment across the entire development lifecycle for a large Air Force program. We are looking for a collaborive, growth-oriented individual passione about enhancing applicion security and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collabore with development, operions, and security teams to integre security practices into the DevOps pipeline for DoD applicions.

• Assist in the implemention and automion of security tools and processes within CI/CD workflows.

• Support the configurion and management of security tools (e.g., stic code analysis, dynamic applicion security testing).

• Participe in incident response activities and assist in monitoring security alerts and incidents.

• Help document security policies, procedures, and best practices for development teams.

• Stay informed about the lest security trends, tools, and best practices in DevSecOps relevant to DoD programs.

Basic Qualificions:

• US Citizen with least an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a SCI prior to your start de.

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or a Master’s Degree with 2+ year of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• DoD 8140 intermedie certificion or DoD 8570 IAM Level II certificions or higher

• Fundamental background with software design pterns and programming languages.

• Fundamental background with software development paradigms and technologies (e.g. change management & version control, CI/CD, Agile planning tools such as Jira or Gitlab).

• Fundamental background using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configurion as Code (CaC).

• Fundamental background in relional dabases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server.

• Experience with Linux and Windows opering systems, network administrion, and networking protocols/functions (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, SMTP, DNS).

• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and container orchestrion tools like Kubernetes.

• Excellent problem solving and analysis skills, including the ability to logically cree structure and order from unstructured inputs.

• Self-starter th can work independently while possessing the communicion skills to work effectively with software development teams and customers.

• Effective communicion skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualificions:

• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to maintain th clearance during your employment.

• Experience administering physical and digital infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment.

• Intermedie Azure Certificions such as AZ-104: Azure Administror Associe or similar certificions from other Cloud Service Providers.

• Experience with security tools and practices reled to DevSecOps (e.g., SAST, DAST, IAST).

• Experience with automed provisioning and configurion tools like Bicep, Terraform, CloudFormion, Chef, Puppet, Ansible or similar technologies.

• Experience provisioning and managing resources within IaaS/Cloud infrastructures (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Plform, etc.).

• Understanding of container security and orchestrion tools (e.g., Kubernetes).

• Basic knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST) and DoD regulions.

• Interest in continuous learning and professional development in cybersecurity and DevOps practices.
